It includes national governments, international organizations, and private sector<\/li>\n<li>Headquarters:\u00a0 <strong>New Delhi, India.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It was <strong>introduced in 2019<\/strong> during the <strong>United Nations Climate Action Summit held in New York.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It is funded through <strong>voluntary contributions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Major donors: <strong>India (host), USA, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Canada<\/strong>, and the <strong>World Bank<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It supports international goals such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/question\/sendai-framework-is-related-to-which-of-the-following\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction.<\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Key Focus Areas:<\/strong> CDRI\u2019s ten core initiatives includes Small Island Developing States (SIDS), Urban resilience, Data and early warning systems, Finance and governance, Critical and social infrastructure, Mountain ecosystems, Africa-focused projects, Resilience for major events, Research and innovation and Capacity building and training<\/li>\n<li><strong>Governance Structure:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Governing Council:<\/strong> All members; meets annually.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Executive Committee:<\/strong> Oversees programmes; meets twice a year.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Secretariat:<\/strong> Led by Director General; handles daily operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Recently, the seventh edition of the International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (ICDRI) was held on June 6\u20137 in Nice, France.
