{"id":340119,"date":"2025-06-12T14:38:08","date_gmt":"2025-06-12T09:08:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=340119"},"modified":"2025-06-15T19:15:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-15T13:45:09","slug":"exercise-khaan-quest-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/exercise-khaan-quest-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Exercise Khaan Quest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>News:<\/strong> The Indian Army contingent reached Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for the Multinational Military Exercise KHAAN QUEST, scheduled to be conducted from 14th to 28th June 2025.<\/p>\n<h2>About Exercise Khaan Quest<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_340122\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-340122\" style=\"width: 362px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-340122\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Source-PIB-2.png?resize=362%2C238&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"362\" height=\"238\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Source-PIB-2.png?resize=300%2C197&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Source-PIB-2.png?resize=1024%2C674&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Source-PIB-2.png?resize=768%2C506&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Source-PIB-2.png?w=1314&amp;ssl=1 1314w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-340122\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source &#8211; PIB<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>It is an <strong>annual multinational military<\/strong> <strong>peacekeeping <\/strong>exercise event.<\/li>\n<li>The exercise brings together <strong>military forces from around the world <\/strong>to collaborate and enhance their peacekeeping capabilities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2025 Edition<\/strong>: It is scheduled to be conducted from 14th to 28th June 2025 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2024 edition<\/strong>: It was conducted in <strong>Mongolia<\/strong> from 27th July to 9th August 2024.<\/li>\n<li><strong>History:<\/strong> The exercise <strong>first started<\/strong> as a <strong>bilateral<\/strong> event between <strong>USA and Mongolian<\/strong> Armed Forces in the year 2003.\n<ul>\n<li>Subsequently, from the <strong>year 2006 onwards<\/strong> the exercise graduated to a <strong>Multinational Peacekeeping Exercise<\/strong> with <strong>current year being the 22nd iteration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>India in 2025 Edition:<\/strong> The Indian Army contingent comprising 40 personnel is being represented mainly by troops from a Battalion of the <strong>KUMAON REGIMENT<\/strong> along with personnel from other Arms and Services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim:<\/strong> The aim of Exercise is to <strong>prepare Indian Armed Forces for peacekeeping missions<\/strong> while operating <strong>in a multinational environment<\/strong>, thereby increasing interoperability and military readiness in peace support operations under <strong>Chapter VII of United Nations Charter.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Significance:<\/strong> The Exercise will enable the participating countries to <strong>share their best practices<\/strong> in Tactics, Techniques and Procedures for conduct of joint operations.\n<ul>\n<li>The exercise will facilitate developing <strong>inter-operability, bonhomie and camaraderie<\/strong> between soldiers of the participating countries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The Indian Army contingent reached Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia for the Multinational Military Exercise KHAAN QUEST, scheduled to be conducted from 14th to 28th June 2025.
