There are\u00a0two<\/em>\u00a0tragedies in Civil Services Preparation that completely delegitimize our preparation.<\/p>\n One is\u00a0not<\/em>\u00a0clearing the PT.<\/p>\n The other is not clearing the\u00a0PT<\/em>.<\/p>\n Not clearing the Personality Test (PT) has\u00a0almost<\/em>\u00a0the same psychological impact on our psyche that not clearing the Preliminary Test (PT) has.<\/p>\n Our complete preparation is\u00a0delegitimised<\/em>\u00a0– even if we\u00a0have<\/em>\u00a0worked hard. Our confidence takes a\u00a0hit<\/em>, we feel there is something fundamentally\u00a0wrong<\/em>\u00a0with us – and even\u00a0question<\/em>\u00a0if we are made for it.<\/p>\n This\u00a0Thursday<\/em>, at 11AM, we meet in New Delhi in Karol Bagh to accept and acknowledge our failure – as difficult as it may be – particularly because of the\u00a0Commission’s track record of discretion in deciding the key for Prelims examination – at least for 2024 and now again for 2025 prelims attempt.<\/p>\n Sometimes, life screws us even if it’s not\u00a0our<\/em>\u00a0mistake.<\/p>\n But that’s\u00a0not<\/em>\u00a0all.<\/p>\n We’ll also aim to find\u00a0objectivity<\/em>\u00a0in\u00a0chaos<\/em>.<\/p>\n If you\u00a0know<\/em>\u00a0someone who needs to attend \/ hear this, do forward this email to them.<\/p>\n For we have had a few hundred people from such meets,\u00a0shine<\/em>\u00a0in the coming year – which is why we\u00a0still<\/em>\u00a0do it – even though\u00a0everything<\/em>\u00a0that needs to be said has been said\u00a0before<\/em>.<\/p>\n Remember, the tree of our success is\u00a0contained<\/em>\u00a0in the\u00a0seeds<\/em>\u00a0of our failure.
