It highlights <strong>violations of international law<\/strong>, growing <strong>global power rivalry<\/strong>, India\u2019s shifting foreign policy, and the emerging role of the <strong>Global South<\/strong> in a changing world order.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>U.S. Imperialism and Global Aggression<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Unilateral Military Actions: <\/strong>The <strong>U.S. attack on three Iranian nuclear facilities<\/strong>, during the Israel-Iran war, violated international law. This continues a pattern of <strong>unauthorized interventions<\/strong>, including in <strong>Iraq and Afghanistan<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Trump&#8217;s Assertive Agenda: <\/strong>Trump\u2019s <strong>\u2018<\/strong><strong>America First<\/strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong> approach reflects a <strong>response to declining U.S. dominance<\/strong> and the <strong>neoliberal crisis<\/strong>. His focus is on <strong>reviving American hegemony<\/strong>, even at the cost of traditional alliances.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Hegemony Without Restraint: <\/strong>The U.S. is now <strong>violating the very international order it helped establish in 1945<\/strong>. Its <strong>use of power is often random and reckless<\/strong>, without strategic coherence.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>Rise of China and Strategic Rivalry<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Challenge to U.S. Dominance: <\/strong>China\u2019s <strong>economic strength, technological growth, and global influence<\/strong> have made it the key challenger to U.S. power. This <strong>strategic competition<\/strong> began before Trump.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Global Power Shift: <\/strong>With the <strong>U.S. economy at $30 trillion<\/strong> and <strong>China at $20 trillion<\/strong>, a <strong>new Cold War<\/strong> is taking shape. A <strong>U.S.-China consensus<\/strong> could limit the influence of other powers like <strong>India<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Focus on Asia-Pacific: <\/strong>Trump may <strong>reorient U.S. strategy to the Asia-Pacific<\/strong>. Previous tactics like <strong>tariff wars failed<\/strong>, as <strong>China stood firm<\/strong>. The <strong>U.S.-China rivalry<\/strong> will dominate global affairs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>India<\/strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong><strong>s Strategic Dilemma in a Polarized World<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Erosion of Strategic Autonomy: <\/strong>India\u2019s <strong>deepening ties with the U.S. and Quad<\/strong> show a shift. It <strong>avoided condemning U.S. and Israeli attacks<\/strong>, indicating <strong>reduced foreign policy independence<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Balancing Security Needs: <\/strong>Facing <strong>territorial tensions with China<\/strong>, India needs support from <strong>the U.S., Russia, and France<\/strong>. But <strong>dependence may compromise sovereignty and autonomy<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Costs of Alignment: <\/strong>After the <strong>Pahalgam attack<\/strong>, Trump claimed credit for resolving tensions with Pakistan. Such <strong>interference risks India being treated like a dependent ally<\/strong>, limiting <strong>multipolar opportunities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>BRICS, SCO, and the Global South<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Weakness of Regional Forums: <\/strong>The <strong>SCO is dominated by China<\/strong>, while <strong>BRICS lacks internal coherence<\/strong>, making them weak platforms for global action.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Need for Clear Positions: <\/strong>India must <strong>oppose aggression against BRICS members<\/strong>. <strong>Strategic neutrality<\/strong> weakens <strong>Global South solidarity<\/strong> and India&#8217;s credibility in multilateral forums.<\/li>\n<li><strong> Alignment Undermines Representation: <\/strong>India\u2019s <strong>strategic bond with the U.S.<\/strong> reduces its ability to <strong>advocate for Global South interests<\/strong>, affecting its role in a <strong>multipolar world<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><strong>The Future of the Global South<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong> Consequences of U.S. Policies: <\/strong>Trump\u2019s <strong>trade wars and tariffs<\/strong> will <strong>harm Global South economies<\/strong>, leading to <strong>job losses and financial instability<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Failure of Multilateralism: <\/strong>With <strong>traditional institutions failing<\/strong>, <strong>mini-lateralism<\/strong> and <strong>South-South cooperation<\/strong> must emerge to tackle issues like <strong>debt and climate change<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong> India<\/strong><strong>\u2019<\/strong><strong>s Leadership Opportunity: <\/strong>India must <strong>strategically engage with the Global South<\/strong> to address <strong>economic and environmental challenges<\/strong>.
