PIB<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a key initiative which aims to support creation over 3.5 crore jobs in two years.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Nodal Ministry<\/strong>: Ministry of Labour &amp; Employment<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scheme outlay:<\/strong> Rs. 1 lakh crore<\/li>\n<li><strong>Benefits:<\/strong> The scheme will provide <strong>incentive of up to Rs. 15,000 in two installments<\/strong> to newly employed youth and up-to Rs.<strong>\u00a03000 per month per new employee<\/strong> to employers for creation new job opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Features of the Scheme:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Part A \u2013 Support to First-Time Employees:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Beneficiaries:<\/strong> This Part targets the first-time employees registered with EPFO.\n<ul>\n<li>The Part A will benefit around <strong>92 crore first time employees<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> Employees with <strong>salaries up to Rs 1 lakh<\/strong> will be eligible for the incentives.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Benefits:<\/strong> It will offer <strong>one-month EPF wage up to Rs.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>15,000 in two instalments<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Working:<\/strong> The <strong>1st instalment<\/strong> will be payable <strong>after 6 months of service<\/strong> and the <strong>2nd instalment<\/strong> will be <strong>payable after 12 months of service<\/strong> and <strong>completion of a financial literacy programme<\/strong> by the employee.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Savings:<\/strong> To encourage the habit of <strong>saving<\/strong>, a portion of the incentive will be kept in a <strong>savings instrument of deposit account<\/strong> for a <strong>fixed period<\/strong> and can be <strong>withdrawn by the employee at a later date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Part B \u2013 Incentives for Employers:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Target:<\/strong> This part will encourage generation of additional <strong>employment in all sectors<\/strong>, with a <strong>special focus on the manufacturing sector<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Beneficiaries:<\/strong> The <strong>employers<\/strong> will get <strong>incentives in respect of new employees<\/strong> with <strong>salaries up to Rs 1 lakh.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>This part is expected to incentivize employers for the creation of additional employment of nearly <strong>60 crore persons<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Features:<\/strong> The Government will incentivize <strong>employers, up to Rs 3000 per month<\/strong>, for <strong>two years<\/strong>, for <strong>each<\/strong> additional employment, <strong>sustained for at least six months<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>For the <strong>manufacturing sector<\/strong>, incentives will be extended to the <strong>3rd and 4th years<\/strong> as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Incentive Payment Mechanism<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>For Part A:<\/strong> All <strong>payments<\/strong> to the <strong>First Time Employees under Part A<\/strong> of the Scheme will be made through <strong>DBT<\/strong> (Direct Benefit Transfer) mode using Aadhar Bridge Payment System (<strong>ABPS<\/strong>).<\/li>\n<li><strong>For Part B:<\/strong> <strong>Payments to the Employers<\/strong> under Part B will be made directly into their <strong>PAN-linked Accounts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Prime Minister announced the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana from the historic Red Fort on August 15th.
