{"id":345286,"date":"2025-08-28T16:45:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T11:15:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=345286"},"modified":"2025-08-28T16:45:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T11:15:12","slug":"project-aarohan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/project-aarohan\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Aarohan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>News:<\/strong> Recently, NHAI in collaboration with Vertis Infrastructure Trust announced the launch of \u2018Project Aarohan\u2019.<\/p>\n<h2>About Project Aarohan<\/h2>\n<figure style=\"width: 503px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/etimg.etb2bimg.com\/photo\/123541255.cms\" alt=\"&lt;p&gt;Applications will be accepted through an online portal, with students required to provide academic records, income proof, caste certificates and identification documents.&lt;\/p&gt;\" width=\"503\" height=\"335\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: ET<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Launched by:<\/strong> <strong>National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)<\/strong> in collaboration with Vertis Infrastructure Trust.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objective:<\/strong> To <strong>support the children of toll plaza employees<\/strong> in fulfilling their educational aspirations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim:<\/strong> It aims to <strong>remove financial barriers, reduce socio-economic inequalities<\/strong>, and provide <strong>equal access to quality education<\/strong> to students from marginalized communities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Targeted beneficiaries:<\/strong> The project is designed to<strong> benefit students from economically weaker sections of society. <\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Special focus has been given to girls from low-income households, first-generation learners, and children <strong>belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and minority communities.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Key features<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Funding and Duration:<\/strong> In its first phase, Project Aarohan has been allocated<strong> a fund of \u20b91 crore.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>This phase will<strong> run from July 2025 to March 2026.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Scholarships Offered:<\/strong> The project will <strong>support 500 students from Class 11 up to the final year of graduation. <\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Each of these students will receive an annual scholarship of \u20b912,000 for the financial year 2025\u201326.<\/li>\n<li><strong>50 bright students aspiring to pursue postgraduate or higher studies will be awarded scholarships of \u20b950,000 each.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mentoring:<\/strong> It also offers <strong>structured mentorship programs, skill-building workshops, and career guidance. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Significance:<\/strong> It is expected to <strong>reach out to the children of toll plaza personnel deployed<\/strong> across the vast network of national highways in India and<strong> create long-lasting benefits by providing financial assistance, career awareness, and mentorship opportunities<\/strong> to hundreds of students nationwide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Recently, NHAI in collaboration with Vertis Infrastructure Trust announced the launch of \u2018Project Aarohan\u2019.
