{"id":345816,"date":"2025-09-06T18:44:24","date_gmt":"2025-09-06T13:14:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=345816"},"modified":"2025-09-06T18:47:37","modified_gmt":"2025-09-06T13:17:37","slug":"345816-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/345816-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Angikaar 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>News<\/strong><strong>: <\/strong>The Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs has launched \u201cAngikaar 2025\u201d in New Delhi on 4 September 2025.<\/p>\n<h2>About Angikaar 2025<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_345818\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-345818\" style=\"width: 362px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-345818\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Source-PIB.jpg?resize=362%2C158&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"362\" height=\"158\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Source-PIB.jpg?resize=300%2C131&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Source-PIB.jpg?resize=768%2C335&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Source-PIB.jpg?w=935&amp;ssl=1 935w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-345818\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source &#8211; PIB<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cAngikaar 2025\u201d is a <strong>last-mile outreach campaign under PMAY-U 2.0.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It will run for a <strong>period of two months<\/strong> from 4th September 2025 to 31st October 2025 across 5,000+ Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the country.<\/li>\n<li>It will facilitate completion of remaining PMAY-U houses.<\/li>\n<li>PMAY-U 2.0, <strong>launched in September 2024<\/strong>, provides up to \u20b950 lakh support to one crore urban families.<\/li>\n<li>It reaffirms the Government\u2019s commitment to bring welfare schemes closer to the people by <strong>bridging the implementation gap<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It will reach out to the vulnerable sections of society to provide benefits of the housing scheme.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objectives<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Create awareness of PMAY-U 2.0.<\/li>\n<li>Fast-track application verification.<\/li>\n<li>Expedite completion of sanctioned houses.<\/li>\n<li>Inform stakeholders about the <strong>Credit Risk Guarantee Fund Trust for Low Income Housing.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Ensure last-mile delivery through mobilisation, targeted engagement, and convergence with other schemes.<\/li>\n<li>Extend PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana benefits to PMAY-U beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritise housing for Special Focus Group beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Reach vulnerable sections and bridge the implementation gap.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Features<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Door-to-door outreach, camps, loan melas, and cultural events for <strong>Jan Bhagidari.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>PMAY-U Awas Diwas<\/strong> will be celebrated on 17th September 2025 to mark the first year of launch of PMAY-U 2.0.<\/li>\n<li>\u201c<strong>PM Awas Mela <\/strong><strong>\u2013 <\/strong><strong>Shehri<\/strong>\u201d at district or municipal level in two phases: 17\u201327 September, and any day between 16\u201331 October 2025.<\/li>\n<li>Additional ULB-led ward\/cluster\/city events; flagship platform to showcase PMAY-U benefits and promote convergence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs has launched \u201cAngikaar 2025\u201d in New Delhi on 4 September 2025.
