Industry\u00a0in New Delhi.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Developed by<\/strong>: <strong>DPIIT<\/strong> with support from the <strong>Asian Development Bank (ADB)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Objective<\/strong>: To benchmark, assess and improve <strong>industrial parks\u2019 competitiveness and infrastructure<\/strong> in India.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Purpose and Benefits:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Reliable Data<\/strong>: Provides stakeholders and investors with <strong>credible, transparent information<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Benchmarking<\/strong>: Allows comparison of <strong>industrial park performance across the country<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Best Practices<\/strong>: Encourages <strong>adoption of global standards<\/strong> and sustainable practices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Policy Support<\/strong>: Helps policymakers <strong>design targeted interventions<\/strong> and improve competitiveness.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Boost to Make in India<\/strong>: Strengthens India\u2019s industrial ecosystem and <strong>global competitiveness<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Key Features of IPRS 3.0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>IPRS 3.0 introduces <strong data-start=\"2129\" data-end=\"2294\">expanded parameters such as sustainability, green infrastructure, logistics connectivity, digitalization, skill linkages, and enhanced tenant feedback mechanisms<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Under IPRS 3.0, industrial parks will be <strong data-start=\"2341\" data-end=\"2423\">categorized into Leaders, Challengers, and Aspirers based on their performance<\/strong> across key indicators.<\/li>\n<li>The system will provide <strong data-start=\"2475\" data-end=\"2572\">clear and transparent ratings to enable better benchmarking of facilities and competitiveness<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Impact on States and Union Territories<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Showcase Top Parks<\/strong>: States and Union Territories will be able to showcase their best-performing industrial parks under the new rating system.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Identify Gaps<\/strong>: The initiative will help identify gaps in infrastructure and services that require improvement.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Attract Investments<\/strong>: IPRS 3.0 will <strong data-start=\"2879\" data-end=\"2971\">encourage investments from both domestic and global investors by providing credible data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Employment Generation<\/strong>: The system will also <strong data-start=\"2998\" data-end=\"3065\">support employment generation and skill development initiatives<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strengthen Ecosystem<\/strong>: It will strengthen the industrial and investment ecosystem in different regions of the country<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The Industrial Park Rating System (IPRS) 3.0 was launched recently by the Union Minister of Commerce &amp;
