  • The Musi River flows through Telangana.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • It is a major tributary of the Krishna River<\/strong> in the Deccan Plateau.<\/li>\n
  • It is also known as the Muchukunda, Moosa or Musunuru River.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Origin\u00a0<\/strong><\/td>\nAnantagiri Hills,<\/strong> Vikarabad district, Telangana (about 90 km west of Hyderabad).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

  • The river is formed by two tributaries, Esi and Musa,<\/strong> which merge before entering Hyderabad.<\/li>\n
  • The Esa and Musa converge at the \u2018Tipu Khan bridge sangam\u2019.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Confluence\u00a0<\/strong><\/td>\nIt ultimately merges with the Krishna River near Wazirabad<\/strong> in Nalgonda district.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
