These activities are intended to <strong data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"1018\">strengthen mutual understanding and interoperability<\/strong> between naval personnel.<\/li>\n<li class=\"pt20\"><strong>Sea phase: <\/strong>It features <strong data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1310\">joint manoeuvres<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1331\">tactical drills<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1337\" data-end=\"1363\">coordinated operations<\/strong> between the Indian and South Korean navies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"pt20\">These exercises are designed to <strong data-start=\"1445\" data-end=\"1479\">enhance warfighting capability<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1481\" data-end=\"1517\">improve communication procedures<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1563\">test coordinated response mechanisms<\/strong> in maritime operations.<\/li>\n<li class=\"pt20\">The joint operations showcase the <strong data-start=\"1627\" data-end=\"1676\">growing synergy and operational compatibility<\/strong> between both navies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>About INS Sahyadri<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>INS Sahyadri is an <strong>indigenously designed, constructed<\/strong>, and the <strong>third ship<\/strong> of the <strong>Shivalik Class Guided Missile Stealth Frigates<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It was commissioned in <strong>2012<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The ship is <strong>based at Visakhapatnam<\/strong> as part of the <strong>Eastern Fleet<\/strong> under the aegis of the <strong>Eastern Naval Command<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: India and South Korea have conducted their first-ever bilateral naval exercise &#8220;Exercise IN-RoKN&#8221;, marking a significant milestone in their growing maritime cooperation.
