- Integrated platform:<\/strong> The ReALCRaft Portal is integrated with the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA)<\/strong> and the Export Inspection Council (EIC)<\/strong> to facilitate the issuance of Fish Catch and Health Certificates<\/strong>.\n

- This integration supports traceability, sanitary compliance, and eco-labelling<\/strong>, which are essential for exporting seafood to international markets.<\/li>\n

- Under the Sustainable Harnessing of Fisheries in the EEZ Rules, 2025<\/strong>, all mechanized and large motorized fishing vessels are required to obtain a free digital Access Pass<\/strong> through the ReALCRaft Portal for operations in India\u2019s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Traditional and small-scale fishers<\/strong>, using motorized or non-motorized crafts, are exempted<\/strong> from the requirement of obtaining an Access Pass.<\/li>\n
- The portal ensures that foreign fishing vessels<\/strong> are not allowed to obtain Access Passes, thereby protecting the interests of Indian small-scale fishers.<\/li>\n
- Fishermen and their vessels are identified<\/strong> using QR-coded Aadhaar Cards or Fisher ID Cards<\/strong>, ensuring proper verification and monitoring at sea. These digital features help marine enforcement agencies<\/strong>, including the Indian Coast Guard<\/strong> and Indian Navy<\/strong>, in strengthening coastal security<\/strong> and surveillance in the EEZ.<\/li>\n
- Currently, about 2.38 lakh fishing vessels<\/strong> across 13 coastal States and Union Territories<\/strong> are registered on the ReALCRaft Portal.<\/li>\n
