It focuses on <strong>synergising joint responses<\/strong> during <strong>counter-terrorist operations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Participating Contingents<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>India:<\/strong> 170 personnel, mainly from the <strong>RAJPUT Regiment<\/strong>, supported by <strong>20 Indian Air Force<\/strong> members.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sri Lanka:<\/strong> 135 personnel, primarily from the <strong>GAJABA Regiment<\/strong>, along with <strong>10 Sri Lankan Air Force<\/strong> members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Key highlights of Exercise<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tactical Drills:<\/strong> It includes <strong>raid missions, search and destroy operations, heliborne assaults<\/strong>, and <strong>area domination activities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Special Training Components: <\/strong>The exercise features <strong>Army Martial Arts Routine (AMAR)<\/strong>, <strong>combat reflex shooting<\/strong>, and <strong>Yoga sessions<\/strong> to enhance physical and mental agility.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Technology Integration: <\/strong>It involves the use of <strong>Drones<\/strong>, <strong>Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems<\/strong>, and <strong>helicopters<\/strong> for <strong>surveillance, logistics, and evacuation<\/strong> purposes.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Operational Drills: <\/strong>Joint drills include <strong>securing helipads<\/strong>, <strong>casualty evacuation<\/strong>, and <strong>coordination during counter-terrorist operations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Significance: <\/strong>It enhances <strong>interoperability<\/strong> between the two armies and promotes <strong>sharing of best practices<\/strong> and <strong>joint combat skills<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">It will also strengthen <strong>bilateral defence cooperation<\/strong> and <strong>India-Sri Lanka relations<\/strong> while reinforcing commitment to <strong>UN peacekeeping objectives<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The Eleventh edition of Joint Military exercise \u201cExercise MITRA SHAKTI-2025\u201d commenced at Foreign Training Node, Belagavi, Karnataka.
