News- <\/b>The Indian Navy will commission DSC A20, the first indigenously built Diving Support Craft, at Kochi on 16 December 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

About First Indigenous Diving Support Craft \u2018DSC A20\u2019<\/b><\/p>\n

DSC A20<\/b> is the <\/span>first vessel of the indigenously designed <\/b>and constructed <\/span>Diving Support Craft <\/b>series for the Indian Navy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Built by<\/b>: DSC A20 has been <\/span>built by M\/s Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL), Kolkata,<\/b> as <\/span>part of a series of five Diving Support Craft.<\/b><\/p>\n

Based at<\/b>: After commissioning, DSC A20 will be <\/span>based at Kochi and will operate under the Southern Naval Command.<\/b><\/p>\n

Role<\/b>: The vessel is designed for a wide range of <\/span>underwater tasks, including diving operations, underwater inspection, rescue support, salvage assistance, and coastal operational deployment.<\/b><\/p>\n

Design<\/b>: DSC A20 features a <\/span>catamaran hull design<\/b> and has been designed and built in accordance with the <\/span>Naval Rules and Regulations of the Indian Register of Shipping.<\/b><\/p>\n
