It prioritises <strong>regional primacy<\/strong> in the Western Hemisphere while engaging in strategic competition with China.<\/li>\n<li><strong>China: <\/strong>The world\u2019s <strong>second-largest economy<\/strong>, growing faster than the U.S. and converting economic power into <strong>military capability<\/strong>, including the largest navy by number of ships. It seeks <strong>regional dominance in East and Southeast Asia<\/strong> and aims to establish a <strong>China-centric global order<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Russia: It is e<\/strong>conomically weaker than the U.S. and China but retains <strong>nuclear weapons, vast territory, and abundant energy resources<\/strong>. It seeks to <strong>reassert influence in its traditional sphere<\/strong>, and its partnership with China balances global power dynamics.
