It <strong>helps in tracking techniques, tactics, and procedures adopted by terror networks<\/strong> and<strong> in identifying their modus operandi.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It <strong>supports the training of security personnel<\/strong> through the use of three-dimensional models of IEDs.<\/li>\n<li>It <strong>enables faster formulation and dissemination of immediate and long-term counter-IED measures<\/strong> to address emerging and futuristic threats.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strategic and Security Significance<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>It<strong> strengthens India\u2019s internal security architecture<\/strong> by enabling evidence-based decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>It <strong>promotes enhanced cooperation and information<\/strong> sharing among national and international security organisations.<\/li>\n<li>It<strong> aligns India with global best practices<\/strong> followed by international bomb data centres.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: National IED Data Management System (NIDMS) was operationalized by Union Home Minister Amit Shah as part of the Government of India\u2019s efforts to strengthen internal security.
