In this, immune system damages the<strong> myelin sheath.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Acute Motor Axonal Neuropathy (AMAN) and <\/strong><strong>Acute Motor-Sensory Axonal Neuropathy (AMSAN):<\/strong> In this, immune system <strong>may damage the axons themselves.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Miller Fisher Syndrome:<\/strong> It affects<strong> cranial nerves,<\/strong> causing eye muscle weakness, balance problems, and loss of reflexes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong><strong>Symptoms<\/strong><\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Early signs<\/strong> include <strong>weakness or tingling sensations<\/strong>, typically starting in the <strong>legs<\/strong> and spreading to the <strong>arms and face<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">In some cases, symptoms<strong> progress to paralysis of the legs, arms, or facial muscles.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Severe cases<\/strong> may involve <strong>problems with speaking and swallowing<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Treatment<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">There is<strong> no cure,<\/strong> but <strong>treatment can reduce severity and shorten recovery time.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Plasma exchange (plasmapheresis) <\/strong>which removes harmful antibodies from the blood and <strong>Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) <\/strong>which reduces immune attack on nerves.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: \u00a0Two deaths were reported in Manasa town in Madhya Pradesh due to a Guillain-Barr\u00e9 Syndrome (GBS) outbreak.
