{"id":355052,"date":"2026-01-31T16:43:38","date_gmt":"2026-01-31T11:13:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=355052"},"modified":"2026-01-31T16:43:38","modified_gmt":"2026-01-31T11:13:38","slug":"sampoornata-abhiyan-2-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/sampoornata-abhiyan-2-0\/","title":{"rendered":"Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>News: <\/strong>Recently, NITI Aayog has launched Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, a 3-month national campaign to saturate key health, nutrition, education and sanitation indicators in Aspirational Districts and Blocks.<\/p>\n<h2>About Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0<\/h2>\n<figure style=\"width: 436px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/organiser.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/whatsapp-image-2026-01-29-at-3.20.13-pm-750x394.webp?resize=436%2C229&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0\" width=\"436\" height=\"229\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: NITI Aayog<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Launched by: <\/strong>NITI Aayog on 28 January 2026<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li>NITI Aayog will work <strong>in collaboration with the relevant Central Ministries and Departments,<\/strong> as well as<strong> the Governments of States and Union Territories.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Duration:<\/strong> The campaign will run for <\/span><b>three months (28 January to 14 April 2026)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Aims:<\/strong> It aims to achieve <\/span><b>saturation of critical development indicators<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in <\/span><b>112 Aspirational Districts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><b>513 Aspirational Blocks<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):<\/strong> The programme targets <\/span><b>6 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in Aspirational Blocks and <\/span><b>5 KPIs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in Aspirational Districts.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Focus:<\/strong> The KPIs focuses on improving <\/span><b>health, nutrition, sanitation, education, and livestock welfare<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> indicators.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Districts and Blocks are required<\/strong> to prepare <\/span><b>3-month action plans<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for achieving saturation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Progress will be <\/span><b>reviewed and monitored monthly<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Awareness campaigns and behaviour change initiatives<\/strong> will be conducted to increase community participation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">District-level officers will undertake <\/span><b>regular field visits<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for monitoring and support.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>About Aspirational Districts and Blocks Programme<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Aspirational Districts Programme (ADP): <\/b>It<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> was launched in <\/span><b>2018<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to accelerate development in <\/span><b>112 underdeveloped and remote districts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It focuses on improving outcomes in <\/span><b>health and nutrition, education, agriculture &amp; Water resources, financial inclusion &amp; Skill development, and Infrastructure<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Progress is measured on<strong> 49 Indicators of development.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <\/span><b>Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP): <\/b>It<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> was launched in <\/span><b>2023<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and expanded to <\/span><b>513 blocks by 2025<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li>It focuses on <b>health and nutrition, education, agriculture &amp;
