In <strong>summer<\/strong>, it <strong>moves up to higher altitudes of around 3,300 metres.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Distribution:<\/strong> It is found in <strong>Bhutan, northeast India, northern Myanmar, southeastern Tibet, and parts of China.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>In India, it is mainly found <strong>in Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland (State bird), Mizoram, and Manipur.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It is the <strong>state bird of Nagaland<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Physical Features:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>The male Blyth\u2019s tragopan has a<strong> deep brown upper body marked with red, maroon, and white spots.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Its <strong>breast is bright crimson with a distinct black half-collar<\/strong> beneath the chin.<\/li>\n<li>The<strong> face is orange-yellow<\/strong> and<strong> bordered by a black crown and collar.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>head, neck, and shoulders show vivid scarlet feathers.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>During the breeding season, the male develops pale blue horns and an inflated, brightly coloured throat lappet.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The<strong> male measures<\/strong> about<strong> 65 to 70 centimetres<\/strong>\u00a0and<strong>\u00a0female\u00a0measures<\/strong> about <strong>59 centimetres in length.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The <strong>female has pale grey-brown feathers with faint spots<\/strong> that help her blend into the forest floor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Behaviour:<\/strong> It is <strong>usually found alone or in small groups of four to five birds<\/strong>.
