It was chaired by Brigadier-level officers and lasted about two hours and half.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The developments come as the standoff at Doklam entered the third month.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0Military observers believe the Pangong lake incident would not have a bearing on the standoff.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A section within the military believed that a better communication strategy was needed to avoid unwanted speculation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The peace along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) has been held because both sides have actually respected the status quo.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Every time there is an attempt to disrupt the status quo there is a problem.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2018Pangong scuffle a routine affair\u2019:\u00a0 Context A local flag meeting between military commanders of India and China in Eastern Ladakh on Wednesday has agreed to maintain peace in the area.
