Ponnuswami (1952):<\/strong> The Court held that the right to vote is purely statutory.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jyoti Basu (1982):<\/strong> It reaffirmed that voting is neither a fundamental nor common law right.<\/li>\n<li><strong>PUCL v.
