border-collapse: collapse; border-style: solid;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<h2>About Sholayar River<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sholayar River<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> flows <\/span><b>through Tamil Nadu and Kerala.<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Source and course of river: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has its <\/span><b>source in Valparai Estate<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Tamil Nadu) and runs in a <\/span><b>westerly direction for about 30 miles<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> before it <\/span><b>joins the Parambikulam River (Kerala).<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Tributary: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is one of the<\/span><b> main tributaries <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the<\/span><b> Chalakudi River.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Catchment area:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The total catchment area of this river up to its inflow into the <strong>Parambikulam River<\/strong> is <\/span><b>121.72 sq. km.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: An elderly woman was found dead and partially consumed, allegedly by a leopard, near her residence at Sholayar Nagar in the Sholayar Dam.
