MoHFW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>JANANI is a\u00a0<strong>service-oriented digital platform<\/strong>\u00a0designed <strong>to comprehensively monitor and maintain digital health records of women during their reproductive age.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Launched by:<\/strong> It has been launched by the <strong>Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It has been developed as an<strong> upgraded version<\/strong> of the <strong>existing RCH portal.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim:<\/strong> The platform aims to ensure <strong>seamless tracking of maternal and child health services<\/strong>, covering antenatal care, delivery preparedness, delivery, postnatal care, newborn care, home-based newborn and young child care, and family planning.<\/li>\n<li>It<strong> strengthens service delivery and ensures continuity of care at every stage<\/strong> by enabling continuous monitoring and timely interventions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Features:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Introduction of<\/strong> <strong>QR-enabled digital Mother and Child Health (MCH) Cards: This<\/strong> enables portability and easy access to health records.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Automated alerts:<\/strong> It also incorporates <strong>automated alerts for high-risk pregnancies, real-time dashboards for supervisory review, and due-list generation<\/strong>, enabling timely tracking, monitoring, and targeted interventions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strong interoperability features: <\/strong>It\u00a0is designed with strong <strong>interoperability features<\/strong>, enabling integration with national platforms such as\u00a0<strong>U-WIN and<a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/poshan-abhiyaan-and-poshan-tracker-application\/\"> POSHAN<\/a>.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>This is to facilitate <strong>seamless data exchange, improved coordination across programmes, and comprehensive monitoring of beneficiaries<\/strong> across sectors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Registration of beneficiaries:<\/strong> The platform enables <strong>registration of beneficiaries using unique identifiers such as ABHA, Aadhaar (OTP and biometric), and mobile number<\/strong>, along with pan-India search functionality.\n<ul>\n<li>This ensures continuity of care for migratory populations and prevents duplication of records.<\/li>\n<li>It also provides\u00a0<strong>self-registration facilities<\/strong>\u00a0through web and mobile platforms, empowering beneficiaries to actively engage with their healthcare journey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Timely Healthcare Support:<\/strong> It supports citizens by enabling the <strong>timely scheduling and monitoring of antenatal care visits and immunisations<\/strong>, along with alerts and reminders to ensure that no critical health milestone is missed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Access to Digital Health Services:<\/strong> It provides<strong> access to digital MCH cards, information on nearby healthcare facilities, expected place of delivery, and supports informed decision-making<\/strong> through health education and nutritional guidance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coverage:<\/strong> Till date, JANANI has achieved\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1.34 crore beneficiary registrations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Over 30 lakh pregnant women registered <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>More than 30 lakh MCH cards generated<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Over 1 lakh biometric verifications.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table style=\"width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; border-style: solid;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<h2>About Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) Portal<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) Portal is designed for <strong>early identification and tracking of the individual beneficiary<\/strong> throughout the<strong> reproductive lifecycle of women.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Launched by:<\/strong> It has been launched by the <strong>Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim:<\/strong> To<strong> strengthen the monitoring of RCH indicators<\/strong> \u2013 Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR) through <strong>name-based tracking of health services <\/strong>delivered to eligible couples, pregnant women &amp;
