We are excited to announce that ForumIAS will be going ahead with the\u00a0Answer Writing Focus Group \u2013 AWFG 2026<\/strong> for Mains 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

AWFG has played a key role in the success stories of hundreds of aspirants, helping many not only crack the Mains in their first attempt but also improve their ranks in subsequent attempts.<\/span><\/p>\n

While our Mains Guidance Program (MGP)<\/strong> continues to be a flagship offering\u2014delivering self study mentor-guided, test series-based preparation program for Civil Services Mains preparation \u2014 the AWFG holds a distinct and critical value<\/strong> for aspirants preparing seriously for Mains.<\/span><\/p>\n

First, while the MGP simulates the actual exam environment with 3-hour tests, AWFG ensures exhaustive syllabus coverage<\/strong> through regular answer writing practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

Second, MGP offers detailed evaluation and feedback, whereas AWFG provides quick, graded feedback<\/strong> to maintain momentum and foster a competitive atmosphere\u2014often the push needed to stay consistent.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many students start MGP for Mains 2026 around this time. The year-long MGP offers comprehensive support across the syllabus, but post-Prelims MGP cohorts often lean towards high-yield and dynamic topics<\/strong>. How can I join the AWFG?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Enrolment into the AWFG , like the SFG will have to be earned by you!<\/span><\/p>\n

So admissions to the group will be through a merit principle based on an open test for all \u2013 including selected candidates.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0AWFG Entrance Test will be held on 29th May 2026 at 9 AM<\/strong> and the answer sheet will have to be submitted in the offline mode after 1 hour (immediately after the test), and in the online mode by 4 PM of the same day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Will the Program be available both online and offline?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Like the preceding years, the AWFG will be available in both online and offline mode.<\/span><\/p>\n

Will our copies be evaluated?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Copies will not be evaluated like MGP but will be graded. So you will receive a composite score out of 10 in each paper.<\/span><\/p>\n

The registration fee for the program is Rs. 826 inclusive of 18% GST and is non-refundable and non-adjustable.<\/span><\/p>\n

What will I get?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You will get a total of approximately 25 Test Papers covering GS paper 1, 2, 3 and 4 \u2013 with high quality, crisp answers, gradation, and rank list of all students.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mentorship support for AWFG is not there unless you are also a part of MGP.<\/span><\/p>\n
