China stepped up its <\/span><b>verbal assault on India<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and warned it of <\/span><b>\u2018serious consequences\u2019<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> if it did not withdraw its troops.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The Prime Minister is visiting Hamburg from <\/span><b>July 6-8<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for the G-20 summit. His pre-planned bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit are with Argentina, Canada, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Republic of Korea, the U.K. and Vietnam<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Condition imposed<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">China has clearly set <\/span><b>a pre-condition<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for any meaningful talks to initiate between the nations. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">China claims that India had trespassed inside what China considers its land and has asked India <\/span><b>to immediately withdraw<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> its border troops to uphold the peace\/tranquility of the China and India border areas<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>India has sent conflicting signals through its approach to three recent events<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0The last two months have been an eventful period in India\u2019s foreign policy engagements.
