style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Launched by:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It has been launched by the <\/span><b>Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW).<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It has been developed under the <strong>Sagar Aankalan framework.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It aligns with the <\/span><b>PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, Maritime India Vision 2030 <\/b>and <b>Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It seeks <strong>to strengthen India&#8217;s position in global logistics and maritime trade.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><b style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parameters:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It evaluates ports across<strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> three cargo segments<\/strong> &#8211; <strong style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dry bulk, liquid bulk and container cargo.<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It uses <\/span><b>operational indicators<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> such as <\/span><b>cargo handled, vessel turnaround time, berth idle time, pre-berthing waiting time, container dwell time and ship berth day output<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It assigns <\/span><b>equal weightage to absolute performance<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>year-on-year improvement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, encouraging continuous enhancement of port operations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Performance:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Paradip Port Authority<\/strong> <strong>topped<\/strong> the <strong>Dry Bulk Cargo category<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Sikka Port and Terminals<\/strong> led the <strong>Liquid Bulk Cargo segment.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Mundra Port<\/strong> emerged as the <strong>highest-ranked facility in the Container Cargo category <\/strong>and <strong>Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority<\/strong> (JNPA) secured <strong>second position<\/strong> among <strong>major container ports.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> India&#8217;s ranking in the <strong>World Bank&#8217;s Logistics Performance Index improved from 44th to 22nd position<\/strong> in the <strong>International Shipments category.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Also,<strong> seven Indian ports<\/strong> featured among the <strong>world&#8217;s top 100 ports in the World Bank&#8217;s Container Port Performance Index 2024.<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>JNPA crossed eight million TEUs <\/strong>and handled<strong> more than 102 MMT <\/strong>of cargo during financial year<strong> 2025-26<\/strong>, reflecting the shipping sector&#8217;s growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"red-h2-box\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About Maritime Digital Reforms<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Launched by: The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW)<\/strong> has launched <\/span><b>four digital initiatives.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Aim:<\/strong> They are initiated to <strong>improve service delivery, transparency and accountability<\/strong> for seafarers and maritime stakeholders.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Developed by:<\/strong> It has been developed by the<\/span><b> Directorate General of Shipping (DGS).\u00a0<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>DGS<\/strong> 24&#215;7 Grievance Redressal Module under the e-Navik platform<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>A Ship Registration Module on the e-Samudra platform<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>A Medical Practitioner Module and\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>A Unified Ship Recycling Credit Note Module<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>About 24&#215;7 Grievance Redressal Module under the e-Navik <strong>allow grievances to be filed through multiple channels,<\/strong> including the e-Navik portal, toll-free helplines, WhatsApp and dedicated email services from anywhere in the world.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>About Ship Registration Module on the e-Samudra platform: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The digital ship registration module simplifies vessel registration procedures,<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>About the Medical Practitioner Module: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It would streamline the registration and monitoring of doctors authorised to certify seafarers, while reducing the risk of fraudulent certifications.<\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>About Unified Ship Recycling Credit Note Module: <\/b>The <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Unified Ship Recycling Portal for Ship Recycling Credit scheme<\/strong> is part of the<strong> Government&#8217;s \u20b970,000-crore maritime development package<\/strong> announced in 2025.\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the scheme, <strong>ship owners recycling vessels at Hong Kong Convention-compliant Indian yards can receive a credit note equivalent to 40 per cent of the vessel&#8217;s scrap value,<\/strong> redeemable against new
