{"id":364411,"date":"2026-06-05T15:38:02","date_gmt":"2026-06-05T10:08:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=364411"},"modified":"2026-06-05T15:38:02","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T10:08:02","slug":"viksit-vibrant-village-program-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/viksit-vibrant-village-program-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Viksit Vibrant Village Program 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content-box-green\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>News:<\/strong> The Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs &amp; Sports, through Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), commenced the first phase of the Viksit Vibrant Village Program (VVVP) 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"red-h2-box\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">About Viksit Vibrant Village Program 2026<\/h2>\n<figure style=\"width: 597px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/image0012BSA.jpg?resize=597%2C196&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Viksit Vibrant Village Program 2026\" width=\"597\" height=\"196\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: PIB<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is a pioneering youth-led initiative <strong>aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement, fostering national integration, and promoting sustainable development in India&#8217;s border villages.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Launched by:<\/strong> It has been launched by the<strong> Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs &amp; Sports, through <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/prime-minister-launches-mera-yuva-bharat-my-bharat-platform-on-the-national-unity-day\/\">Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat)<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Implemented by<\/strong>: The programme is being implemented in<strong> collaboration <\/strong>with the Ministry of Home Affairs<strong> (MoHA) and <\/strong>the Indo-Tibetan Border Police<strong> (ITBP).<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordination mechanisms involving <strong>MY Bharat, ITBP, State Governments, District Administrations, and local stakeholders have been established.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Implementation mechanism:<\/strong> Volunteers representing all States and Union Territories are <strong>being deployed in two phases across identified border villages<\/strong> in <strong>Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>During Phase-I, <strong>250 volunteers<\/strong> are participating in immersive engagements across 43 villages.<\/li>\n<li>The remaining 250 volunteers will join Phase-II activities in 50 villages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Participation<\/strong>: A total of <strong>500 MY Bharat volunteers, selected through a nationwide online quiz competition<\/strong> have been chosen to take part in the programme.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Key Features<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>It provides a unique<strong> opportunity <\/strong>for young citizens to<strong> reside in border villages <\/strong>and engage directly with local communities.<\/li>\n<li>Participants will gain firsthand exposure to the<strong> socio-economic realities, cultural heritage, developmental aspirations, and strategic significance <\/strong>of India&#8217;s frontier regions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thematic coverage:<\/strong> It is a<strong> seven-day immersion programme<\/strong> that has been structured around <strong>thematic areas including border awareness, cultural exchange, community living, governance, socio-economic assessment, village development planning, volunteerism, and national integration.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Nation First Challenge: <\/strong>A significant component of the programme is the <strong>promotion of the Nation First Challenge. <\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>It is a<strong> nationwide campaign encouraging responsible citizenship<\/strong> and sustainable lifestyle practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Key themes:<\/strong> MY Bharat volunteers will actively advocate<strong> five key themes <\/strong>of the campaign &#8211;\u00a0<strong>adoption of Swadeshi products, healthy cooking practices, public transport usage and fuel conservation, promotion of natural farming, and vocal support for local tourism.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs &amp; Sports, through Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), commenced the first phase of the Viksit Vibrant Village Program (VVVP) 2026.
