{"id":365568,"date":"2026-06-19T15:13:06","date_gmt":"2026-06-19T09:43:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=365568"},"modified":"2026-06-19T15:13:06","modified_gmt":"2026-06-19T09:43:06","slug":"exercise-khaan-quest-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/exercise-khaan-quest-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Exercise KHAAN QUEST"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content-box-green\">\n<p><b>News:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Indian Army contingent leaves for multinational Exercise KHAAN QUEST in Mongolia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"red-h2-box\"><b>About Exercise KHAAN QUEST<\/b><\/h2>\n<figure style=\"width: 361px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/static.pib.gov.in\/WriteReadData\/userfiles\/image\/DSC_4971.JPG%281%29C6X6.jpeg?resize=361%2C240&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Exercise KHAAN QUEST\" width=\"361\" height=\"240\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: PIB<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a<\/span><b> multinational peacekeeping exercise<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> scheduled to be <\/span><b>conducted from 20 June to 03 July 2026.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Location:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It will be held at <\/span><b>Five Hills Training Area, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>First edition:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The exercise first started as a bilateral event <\/span><b>between U.S.A and the Mongolian Defence Forces in the year 2003.<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year execise is<\/span><b> 23rd edition of the exercise.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Aim:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The aim is <\/span><b>to prepare contingents of participating Defence Forces for peacekeeping missions <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">while operating in a multilateral environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Focus of the exercise:\u00a0 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The exercise will<\/span><b> focus on conduct of joint planning and tactical drills <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">such as establishment of static and mobile checkpoints, cordon and search operations and patrolling.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It also involves<strong> the evacuation of civilians from hostile areas, counter-improvised explosive device drills, combat first aid and casualty evacuation.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>India\u2019s Participation: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Indian Army contingent <\/span><b>comprising 40 personnel is being represented by troops from a Battalion of the JAT REGIMENT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> along with personnel from other Arms and Services.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Features:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will enable the participating countries<strong> to share their best practices in tactics, techniques and procedures<\/strong> for the conduct of joint operations.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It will <strong>facilitate operational readiness, bonhomie and camaraderie<\/strong> between soldiers of the participating countries.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Significance:<\/strong> It will <strong>bring together military forces from across the world<\/strong> to collaborate and enhance interoperability in peace support operations under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Indian Army contingent leaves for multinational Exercise KHAAN QUEST in Mongolia.\u00a0 About Exercise KHAAN QUEST It is a multinational peacekeeping exercise scheduled to be conducted from 20 June to 03 July 2026.
