{"id":365999,"date":"2026-06-25T14:25:05","date_gmt":"2026-06-25T08:55:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=365999"},"modified":"2026-06-25T14:25:05","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T08:55:05","slug":"youth-co-lab-national-innovation-challenge-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/youth-co-lab-national-innovation-challenge-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Co-Lab National Innovation Challenge 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content-box-green\">\n<p><strong>News<\/strong>: Six youth-led startups from across the country won the 8th edition of the Youth Co-Lab National Innovation Challenge 2026.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"red-h2-box\"><strong>About\u00a0Youth Co-Lab National Innovation Challenge 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n<figure style=\"width: 698px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/aim.gov.in\/images\/youthcolab2026-27-banner.jpg?resize=698%2C131&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Youth Co:Lab 2026 \" width=\"698\" height=\"131\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: Atal Innovation Mission<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Six youth-led startups<\/strong> from across the country <strong>won the 8th edition<\/strong> of the <strong>Youth Co-Lab National Innovation Challenge 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Led by:<\/strong> The initiative is <strong>jointly led by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) India and Citi Foundation<\/strong> in partnership with the Atal Innovation Mission (<strong>AIM), NITI Aayog,<\/strong> and <strong>implemented by the T-Hub Foundation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Edition 2026:<\/strong> It is the<strong> eighth edition of the challenge.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>It was<strong> launched in India in 2019 by UNDP in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim<\/strong>: It aims<strong> to establish a common agenda for countries in the Asia-Pacific region to empower and invest in youth so that they can accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs<\/strong>) through leadership, social innovation, and entrepreneurship.\n<ul>\n<li>It is aligned with the <strong>Government of India\u2019s Mission LiFE and focuses on innovations that nudge individual and collective action<\/strong> towards a Lifestyle for the Environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Focus:<\/strong> The theme of this year is <strong>Responsible Consumption.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Themes:<\/strong> The participating startups worked <strong>across three thematic areas<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sustainable Textiles and Fashion<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Circular Economy Innovations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sustainable Food Systems and Water Conservation<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Selection process:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Following a rigorous selection process, <strong>50 high-potential startups were enrolled in the National Springboard Programme<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>All 50 startups pitched before a distinguished jury during the<strong> National Innovation Dialogue<\/strong>. Following the evaluation,<strong> the top 20 startups advanced to the Regional Immersion Bootcamp<\/strong> hosted at T-Hub, Hyderabad.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Following a final jury evaluation,<\/strong> <strong>six<\/strong> startups were selected for their scalable, high-impact solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Winners: <\/strong>NavaPrayoga Labs LLP (Grassip), UnBubble and Ecorenowa Solutions Pvt. Ltd.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Runners Up:<\/strong> Eco Cushion, Vasudeva Innovations and WomenasticCO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prizes:\u00a0<\/strong>The winning startups <strong>received seed grants of three lakh fifty thousand rupees each. <\/strong>The<strong> runners-up were awarded two lakh twenty thousand rupees each.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Ecosystem Exposure &amp; Recognition:<\/b> Selected startups gain <strong>national visibility, access to T-Hub\u2019s innovation ecosystem, and opportunities for continued engagement with mentors, investors, corporates, and policy stakeholders.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Significance:<\/strong> It has emerged as a key platform<strong> for promoting youth-led innovation and accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: Six youth-led startups from across the country won the 8th edition of the Youth Co-Lab National Innovation Challenge 2026.
