{"id":366462,"date":"2026-07-01T13:37:45","date_gmt":"2026-07-01T08:07:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=366462"},"modified":"2026-07-01T13:37:45","modified_gmt":"2026-07-01T08:07:45","slug":"rimpac-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/rimpac-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"RIMPAC 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content-box-green\">\n<p><strong>News: <\/strong>The United States officially launched Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2026, bringing together military forces from 30 countries for the world\u2019s largest international maritime exercise.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"red-h2-box\">About RIMPAC 2026<\/h2>\n<figure style=\"width: 312px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.rimpacmwr.com\/CMS_Themes\/airshow\/images\/RIMPAC\/RIMPAC%202026%20Logo_72dpi.png?resize=312%2C312&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"RIMPAC 2026\" width=\"312\" height=\"312\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: RIMPAC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>It is the<strong> world\u2019s largest joint and combined maritime exercise,<\/strong> bringing together<strong> naval, air and land forces<\/strong> to<strong> improve their ability to operate<\/strong> <strong>together<\/strong> across a wide range of military operations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong> It is being held in<strong> Hawaii and will be held from 24th June to 31st July 2026.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Hosted by:<\/strong> It is being <strong>hosted by the U.S. Pacific Fleet, U.S.A.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Edition:<\/strong> This year is the<strong> 30th edition of the exercise.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First edition:<\/strong> The<strong> first edition<\/strong> of this exercise was<strong> held in 1971.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Frequency:<\/strong> It is conducted<strong> biennially (once every two years).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Theme of 2026:<\/strong> This year\u2019s theme is <strong>\u201cPartners: Integrated and Prepared,\u201d<\/strong> showing the participating countries\u2019 focus on working together and improving shared readiness in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim:<\/strong> It\u00a0aims <strong>to strengthen cooperation, operational readiness and maritime security across the Indo-Pacific. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Participation:<\/strong> It involves more than <strong>30 surface ships, five submarines, over 206 aircraft, 15 national land forces and around 30,000 military personnel training<\/strong> in and around the Hawaiian Islands.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Participating nations:<\/strong> There are <strong>30 nations participating in this exercise.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>India is among the participating nations for this exercise. <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Other nations include Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Fiji, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Tonga, United Kingdom and U.S.A.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Features:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Multinational Joint Exercise<\/strong>: It brings<strong> together allied and partner nations under a combined multinational command structure<\/strong> to enhance cooperation, interoperability, and collective readiness.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Comprehensive Maritime and Military Training:<\/strong>\u00a0The exercise<strong> includes amphibious operations, gunnery and missile drills, anti-submarine warfare, air defence operations, military medicine, mine countermeasures,<\/strong> explosive ordnance disposal, and diving and salvage activities.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Security and Crisis-Response Operations:<\/strong>\u00a0Participants conduct <strong>counter-piracy missions as well as humanitarian assistance<\/strong> and <strong>disaster response training to improve preparedness<\/strong> for both security challenges and emergencies.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strengthening Regional Stability:<\/strong>\u00a0The exercise demonstrates <strong>the capability and flexibility of multinational maritime forces<\/strong> while promoting stronger international partnerships and supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The United States officially launched Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2026, bringing together military forces from 30 countries for the world\u2019s largest international maritime exercise.
