PIB<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>ICMR-MINDS<\/strong> stands for <strong>ICMR&#8217;s Multistate Implementation Research Study on Integration of Screening and Management of Mental and Substance Use Disorders with other Non-Communicable Diseases (ICMR-MINDS)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Initiative of:<\/strong> It is a flagship<strong> digital mental healthcare initiative<\/strong> of the Indian Council of Medical Research<strong> (ICMR).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Implemented across<\/strong>: The initiative is being implemented across<strong> seven states<\/strong> through <strong>AIIMS Guwahati, Gujarat Institute of Mental Health, AIIMS New Delhi, St. John\u2019s Medical College, AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Bhubaneswar and PGIMER Chandigarh.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim:<\/strong>\u00a0The project aims to <strong>integrate the screening and management of mental and substance use disorders with the treatment of other non-communicable diseases.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Key Features :<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>AI-enabled Clinical Decision Support System:<\/strong>\u00a0It enables trained frontline healthcare workers to <strong>provide standardized screening, assessment, follow-up care and routine management<\/strong> with evidence-based digital guidance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital Features:<\/strong>\u00a0The platform provides <strong>standardized digital screening workflows, role-based clinical guidance, multilingual interfaces, offline functionality, gamified features and real-time<\/strong> administrative dashboards.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Continuity of Care:<\/strong> The platform supports structured referrals and <strong>two-way back-referral mechanisms<\/strong> to improve follow-up care and optimise specialist resources.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Healthcare Delivery:<\/strong> The approach improves treatment adherence, <strong>reduces patient dropout and eases the burden on tertiary healthcare institutions.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"red-h2-box\"><strong>About National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG)<\/strong> are <strong>presented every year to recognize and promote excellence in the implementation of e-Governance initiatives.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"475\">Edition:<\/strong> The year 2026 marks <strong data-start=\"476\" data-end=\"557\">the 29th edition of the National Awards for e-Governance.<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Presented by:<\/strong> It is presented <strong>by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG)<\/strong> under the <strong>Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Categories<\/strong>: The awards are presented in <strong>seven categories<\/strong>, covering <strong>digital transformation, AI innovation, cyber security, district-level initiatives, Gram Panchayat initiatives, project replication and scaling, and data analytics.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Prize detail<\/strong>: <strong>Gold Awardees<\/strong> receive a <strong>trophy, certificate and \u20b910 lakh.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Silver Awardees<\/strong> receive a <strong>trophy, certificate and \u20b95 lakh<\/strong> for implementing projects or programmes or bridging resource gaps in public welfare.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Awards in 2026:<\/strong> A total of <strong>16 awards are being conferred<\/strong> under NAeG 2026, including <strong>10 Gold Awards and 6 Silver Awards.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News:\u00a0ICMR-MINDS received the Gold Award at the National Awards for e-Governance 2026 for its AI-based citizen-centric mental healthcare platform.
