IANS<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <strong>Partnership for Cyber, Critical Technologies, Supply Chains (PACTS)<\/strong>\u00a0 is a framework between <strong>Australia and India<\/strong> aimed <\/span><b>at strengthening cooperation in cyber security, critical technologies, resilient supply chains and defence research.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It r<\/span>eplaces the<b> 2020 Framework Arrangement on Cyber and Cyber Enabled Critical Technology Cooperation.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Focus:<\/strong> It seeks <\/span><b>to deepen collaboration in areas <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">considered critical to national security, economic growth and regional stability.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Bilateral Oversight:<\/strong> The partnership will be jointly<\/span><b> overseen by India\u2019s Deputy National Security Advisor and Australia\u2019s Deputy Secretary of the International and Security Group in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An <\/span><b>annual Senior Officials\u2019 Meeting will review progress, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">identify emerging cyber and technology risks, and determine new collaborative projects under each pillar.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Pillars of partnership: <\/b>T<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">he partnership is structured around <strong>five pillars of cooperation<\/strong>:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table style=\"height: 1100px; height: 86px;\"><b>Critical Technologies<\/b><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 82.0264%; height: 86px;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second pillar focuses on Critical Technologies with both countries<\/span><b> committing to deepen collaboration in artificial intelligence, space technologies, telecommunications, biotechnology and advanced materials.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The two sides wil<\/span><b>l support joint research, innovation and investment initiatives while working together on international standards for trustworthy and secure AI.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They will also <\/span><b>explore new opportunities for collaboration in the rapidly expanding space sector.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr style=\"height: 188px;\">\n<td style=\"width: 21.8987%;
