DD News<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Full form: Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana Rasayan or\u00a0BHAVYA &#8211; Rasayan Scheme<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim:<\/strong> The scheme is devised for the <strong>establishment of three dedicated chemical parks<\/strong> across the country, aiming to <strong>strengthen India\u2019s chemical manufacturing ecosystem<\/strong>, attract <strong>investments<\/strong> and enhance <strong>global competitiveness.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It was announced in the <strong>Union Budget of FY 2026\u201327.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Timespan:<\/strong> The scheme would run for a period of <strong>5 years from FY 2026-27 to FY 2030-31.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Financial Outlay: <\/strong>The Scheme will have a <strong>total financial outlay of Rs. 3,030 crore<\/strong>, with <strong>Rs. 3,000 crore<\/strong> towards meeting the <strong>cost of establishing the Common Infrastructure Facilities<\/strong> and <strong>Basic Utilities<\/strong> inside the park and <strong>Rs. 30 Crores as administrative expenditure<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Centre<\/strong> would provide a grant of up to <strong>Rs.1,000 crore per park<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>This will be <strong>subject to minimum contribution of Rs.500 crore<\/strong> by the concerned <strong>State Government<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other Features<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Centre will facilitate development<\/strong> of <strong>three<\/strong> dedicated Chemical Parks by the <strong>State Governments<\/strong> under <strong>Challenge Route<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Each such park<\/strong> will have a <strong>minimum contiguous area of 8 sq. km.<\/strong> (minimum 2,000 acres) of <strong>encumbrance-free land.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>These parks will provide <strong>plug-and-play infrastructure<\/strong>, in the form of <strong>Common Infrastructure Facilities and Basic Utilities<\/strong> for the chemical industry such as &#8211;\n<ul>\n<li>Common Effluent Treatment Plant (CETP),<\/li>\n<li>Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility (TSDF),<\/li>\n<li>Water supply and distribution systems,<\/li>\n<li>Solvent recovery and distillation facilities,<\/li>\n<li>Steam generation and distribution network,<\/li>\n<li>Interconnected pipeline network,<\/li>\n<li>Logistics and warehousing facilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Future Benefits<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>It will <strong>promote development of the Chemical industry<\/strong> along the whole <strong>value chains<\/strong>, leading to <strong>lower logistics cost<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It will lead to <strong>enhanced cost competitiveness<\/strong> and will make the Indian Industry <strong>globally competitive<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>It will help the Indian Chemical industry better <strong>integrate in Global Value Chains<\/strong> leading to <strong>greater exports<\/strong> and <strong>higher import substitution.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It will ensure <strong>better compliance management<\/strong> with <strong>environmental regulations<\/strong>, thereby promoting development of industry in <strong>eco-friendly manner.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Development of Chemical sector will lead to a <strong>cascading effect<\/strong> through enhanced <strong>development of downstream sectors<\/strong> of the economy as well, helping achieve the <strong>goal of Viksit Bharat @ 2047.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The Union Cabinet has approved the Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana Rasayan (BHAVYA Rasayan) scheme for the establishment of three dedicated chemical parks across the country.
