human-made.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Properties:<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The most common forms of cyanide in the environment are<\/span><b> hydrogen cyanide. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a<\/span><b> colorless gas.<\/b>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Impact: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hydrogen cyanide <\/span><b>disrupts the body\u2019s ability to utilise oxygen<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and can damage vital organs, including the brain, heart, blood vessels, and lungs.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Sodium and potassium cyanide<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which are <\/span><b>white or colorless solids.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>Odour: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most cyanide compounds have <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a<\/span><\/i><b><i> faint almond odor.\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><b>Applications: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cyanide has several industrial and medical applications.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is used in <\/span><b>manufacturing, pesticide production, and various industrial chemicals.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In <strong>medicine<\/strong>, it is present in <\/span><b>sodium nitroprusside<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a commonly used antihypertensive drug, with each molecule containing five cyanide ions.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table style=\"border-style: solid;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h2 400;\"> and a wide range of mammals, including <strong>elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas.<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Land of Giants:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Amboseli is particularly famous for its <\/span><b>large elephant population and exceptionally large-tusked
