{"id":370192,"date":"2026-08-24T14:16:59","date_gmt":"2026-08-24T08:46:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/?p=370192"},"modified":"2026-08-24T15:47:55","modified_gmt":"2026-08-24T10:17:55","slug":"exercise-udara-shakti-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/exercise-udara-shakti-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Exercise Udara Shakti 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"content-box-green\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>News:<\/strong> The Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully concluded its participation in two pivotal international flight engagements: Exercise Pitch Black 2026 in Australia and Exercise Udara Shakti 2026 in Malaysia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"red-h2-box\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About Exercise Udara Shakti 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n<figure style=\"width: 265px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.shankariasparliament.com\/uploads\/files\/ex-udara-shakti.jpg?resize=265%2C332&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Exercise Udara Shakti, 2026\" width=\"265\" height=\"332\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Source: News On Air<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About:<\/strong> It is a<strong> five-day bilateral<\/strong> air exercise <strong>between India and Malaysia<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Host:<\/strong> It was conducted at <strong>Subang, Malaysia.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>First Edition:<\/strong> The <strong>inaugural<\/strong> edition of Exercise was conducted in<strong> 2022.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Exercise Udara Shakti <strong>2026<\/strong> is the <strong>third edition <\/strong>of the exercise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Frequency of exercise:<\/strong> It is conducted <strong>once in every two year.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Aircraft deployed:<\/strong> The IAF has deployed<strong> four Rafales from 101 Squadron<\/strong> and <strong>two C-17 Globemaster III strategic airlift aircraft<\/strong> from 81 Squadron.\n<ul>\n<li>The RMAF has <strong>fielded two Su-30MKMs from No. 12 Squadron, two F\/A-18D Hornets from No. 18 Squadron and an A400M transport aircraft.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>IAF aircrew<strong> executed high-intensity combat sorties and joint tactical manoeuvres alongside the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Participation:<\/strong> A total of<strong> 83 personnel from the two air forces<\/strong> are participating in the exercise.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Activities involved<\/strong>: The <strong>flying phase<\/strong> includes<strong> dissimilar air combat training, dissimilar basic fighter manoeuvres and air-to-air refuelling.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two air forces are also <strong>conducting subject matter expert exchanges (SMEE), on training doctrine and integrated operations.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The exercise<strong> involved complex missions in a high-threat environment, improving coordination, learning, and teamwork among the participating countries.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Note:<\/strong> Read about <a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/ex-pitch-black-2026\/\">Exercise Pitch Black 2026<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully concluded its participation in two pivotal international flight engagements: Exercise Pitch Black 2026 in Australia and Exercise Udara Shakti 2026 in Malaysia.
