aspiring entrepreneurs, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">startups, innovators, researchers, students, academia, industry leaders and ecosystem partners<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Focus:<\/strong> Its focus was on<\/span><b> promoting innovation-led entrepreneurship through knowledge sharing, mentorship, networking and ecosystem collaboration.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Highlight of the summit:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <strong>GENESIS EIR 3.0<\/strong> was launched at the GENESIS NextGen Startup Summit.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u00a0 is a <\/span><b>component of the GENESIS (Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups) scheme,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong> aimed<\/strong> at <strong>discovering, supporting and accelerating startups,<\/strong> particularly in <strong>Tier-II and Tier-III cities.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through its Entrepreneur-in-Residence component, <strong>it provides focused funding and incubation support<\/strong> to help innovators, students and entrepreneurs convert early-stage ideas into pilot-ready solutions.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Implemented by:<\/strong> It is being\u00a0 implemented by <strong>MeitY Startup Hub.<\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It supports <\/span><b>early-stage innovators developing technology-based solutions in Electronics, Information Technology (IT), Information and Communication Technology (ICT<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) and DeepTech.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selected applicants will <strong>receive incubation, mentorship, ecosystem access, networking opportunities and financial assistance<\/strong> of up to <\/span><b>\u20b910 lakh<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> through participating GENESIS incubators.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this initiative, <strong>MeitY Startup Hub seeks to strengthen India&#8217;s technology startup ecosystem and empower innovators<\/strong> from across the country to build scalable and impactful ventures.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"red-h2-box\"><b>About GENESIS<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups (GENESIS)<\/strong> is a<\/span> flagship initiative of<b> MeitY Startup Hub.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was launched in <\/span><b>2022 by <\/b><b>MeitY<\/b><b>.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u00a0 is designed<\/span><b> to discover, support, grow and accelerate startups across India&#8217;s Tier-II and Tier-III cities.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Budgetary outlay:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> It has<\/span><b> total budgetary outlay of \u20b9490 crore.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Components:<\/strong> Through its<strong> Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Pilot, Investment and DeepTech funding components<\/strong>, GENESIS supports startups and innovators from early ideation and experimentation through to validation, investment and scale.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u00a0 <strong>seeks to unlock the entrepreneurial potential of emerging regions<\/strong> and connect them more deeply with
