These include:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Amindivi Group<\/strong> (consisting of 5 inhabited islands) in the north<\/li>\n<li><strong>Laccadive Group<\/strong> (consisting of 4 inhabited and 12 uninhabited islands) in the center<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minicoy Group<\/strong> (consisting of 1 inhabited and one uninhabited island) in the south.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Inhabited islands:<\/strong> The inhabited islands include <strong>Agatti, Amini, Androth, Bitra, Chetlat, Kadmat, Kalpeni, Kavaratti, Kiltan, and Minicoy.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Straits and channels that separates different islands:\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Kavaratti Channel-<\/strong> It separates <strong>Kavaratti and Agatti.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>8 Degree channel- <\/strong>It separates<strong> Minicoy island and Maldives.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>9 Degree channel-<\/strong> It separates<strong>\u00a0Minicoy Island from the main Lakshadweep group.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table style=\"border-collapse: collapse; width: 100%;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 100%;\">\n<h2 class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer red-h2-box yellow-h2-box\" style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"76\" data-end=\"262\">About Pandaram land and Cowledar<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>1965 regulation<\/strong> created <strong>a statutory framework<\/strong> for <strong>land revenue, tenancy and the rights and liabilities<\/strong> of landholders in Lakshadweep.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/pandaram-lands\/\">Pandaram lands:<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>It refers to<strong> a form of land ownership<\/strong>.
