Money Control<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>&#8216;Call to Action for 6G Leadership and Security&#8217;<\/strong>\u00a0is an <strong>international initiative for 6G telecommunications networks.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Launched by:<\/strong> The initiative was launched by the <strong>National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA)<\/strong> under the <strong>US Commerce Department.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Partner nations: <\/strong>The initiative has<strong> 26 partner countries,<\/strong> including <strong>India <\/strong>and the <strong>United States.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Objective:<\/strong> It seeks to <strong>ensure that 6G networks<\/strong> reflect <strong>shared security interests, strengthen competitiveness and drive innovation.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Key Features:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"274\" data-end=\"384\"><strong data-start=\"276\" data-end=\"297\">Network security:<\/strong> It aims to ensure that next-generation networks reflect <strong data-start=\"354\" data-end=\"383\">shared security interests<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"526\"><strong data-start=\"387\" data-end=\"408\">Interoperability:<\/strong> It promotes <strong data-start=\"421\" data-end=\"441\">interoperability<\/strong> so that 6G networks can function effectively across different countries and systems.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"658\"><strong data-start=\"529\" data-end=\"544\">Resilience:<\/strong> It aims to make <strong data-start=\"561\" data-end=\"592\">6G infrastructure resilient<\/strong>, so that next-generation networks can remain reliable and robust.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"782\"><strong data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"676\">Trusted AI:<\/strong> It promotes the use of <strong data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"735\">trusted artificial intelligence<\/strong> in developing and operating 6G infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"783\" data-end=\"903\"><strong data-start=\"785\" data-end=\"820\">Competitiveness and innovation:<\/strong> It seeks to <strong data-start=\"833\" data-end=\"884\">strengthen competitiveness and drive innovation<\/strong> in 6G development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"red-h2-box\">About Bharat 6G Mission<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"201\" data-end=\"318\"><strong data-start=\"203\" data-end=\"225\">Bharat 6G Mission<\/strong>\u00a0is <strong data-start=\"232\" data-end=\"317\">India\u2019s initiative to develop next-generation wireless communication capabilities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"319\" data-end=\"451\"><strong data-start=\"321\" data-end=\"335\">Objective:<\/strong> It aims to make India a <strong data-start=\"360\" data-end=\"450\">leading global supplier of affordable 6G intellectual property, products and solutions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phases:<\/strong> The mission will be <strong>implemented in two phases,<\/strong> covering 2023\u20132025 and 2025\u20132030.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Phase 1:<\/strong> It supports <strong>new ideas, use cases, intellectual property (IP) and testbeds<\/strong> through research and government support.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Phase 2:<\/strong> It focuses on <strong>developing globally viable concepts and use cases and commercializing IPs, prototypes and testbeds.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Apex Council:<\/strong> The Government has <strong>appointed an Apex Council to oversee the Bharat 6G Mission.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Standardization:<\/strong> It <strong>focuses on 6G standardization and identification of spectrum for 6G use.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Ecosystem:<\/strong> It works to <strong>create an ecosystem for 6G<\/strong> devices and systems.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Finance:<\/strong> It addresses the <strong>financing of research and development.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Technology:<\/strong> It focuses on technologies such as <strong>Terahertz communication, radio interfaces, tactile internet, AI for connected intelligence,<\/strong> new encoding methods, waveforms and chipsets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News: India has joined a US-led initiative with 25 other countries to shape the development and security of next-generation 6G networks.
