font-size: 16px; font-weight: 700; margin: 0px; text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 0px rgb(10, 10, 10);\">special permit (scientific).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Categorization: Whaling<\/strong> is categorized into <strong>three types<\/strong> under the Convention &#8211;<strong>\u00a0commercial, aboriginal subsistence, and special permit (scientific).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It<strong>\u00a0also applies to factory ships, land stations, and whale catchers.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>An integral part of the Convention is its <strong>legally binding Schedule,<\/strong> which establishes <strong>specific measures collectively adopted by the IWC<\/strong> to regulate whaling and ensure the conservation of whale stocks.\n<ul>\n<li>These measures<strong> include setting catch limits,<\/strong> which may be zero in the case of commercial whaling, for particular species and areas;
