The narrower the beam greater the power.<\/li>\n<li>There is another communication <strong>satellite GSAT-20<\/strong> which is to be launched next year<\/li>\n<li>Launch of four high-throughput satellites <strong>(GSATS 19, 29, 11, 20)<\/strong> will provide the country <strong>broadband connectivity<\/strong> of over 100 gigabits per second by 2019.&#8221; Of the four, two satellites <strong>Gsat-19 and Gsat-29 have already been launched<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The HTSs will be the backbone of India&#8217;s Internet-based programmes and services \u2014 such as Digital India, BharathNet for rural e-governance, and commercial and public sector VSAT Net service providers.<\/li>\n<li>Along with GSAT-11, <strong>South Korea\u2019sGEO-KOMPSAT-2A<\/strong>, a <strong>meteorology satellite<\/strong> is also launched.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-38036\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/big-push.jpg?resize=596%2C344&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"596\" height=\"344\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/big-push.jpg?w=596&amp;ssl=1 596w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/big-push.jpg?resize=150%2C87&amp;ssl=1 150w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forumias.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/big-push.jpg?resize=300%2C173&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 596px) 100vw, 596px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>5.8-tonne GSAT-11 ready for launch News: India\u2019s heaviest satellite, GSAT-11, is set for lift-off on a European Space Agency rocket from French Guiana.
