To commemorate 75 years of the Quit India Movement the government pledged to create a New India that is strong and prosperous. The New India envisages India free from poverty, corruption, terrorism, communalism, casteism and uncleanliness and unite<\/strong> the entire country by adopting good governance and using technology.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to budget 2019-20,\nour economy has reached US$ 2.7 trillion. It aim to reach the US$ 5 trillion in\nthe next few years.Budget 2019-20 mentioned 10-point Vision for the decade. <\/strong>With\nthis Vision set it strives to take India to new heights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 points \u2018Vision for the\nDecade\u2019 and how it will help in aim of new India?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
  1. Building physical and social infrastructure-<\/strong> <\/strong>Physical\nand social infrastructure are the basis of new India. Physical infrastructure\ndevelopment will lead to economic growth, employment generation, better\nproduction, more exports. Thus it will help to achieve New India\u2019s objective of\ndecreasing inequalities and poverty. Further development of social\ninfrastructure like education, health, connectivity will ensure healthy and\nskilled population. Thus it will help in decreasing casteism, poverty through\neducation, employment which is a vision of New India.<\/li>
  2. Digital India reaching every sector of the economy<\/strong>– Digital technology is an enabler. It has multiple\nbenefits. This vision will not only enhance efficiency but also will increase\nproductivity through timely output. It will enable farmer to access data at\nease that will help him in increasing productivity. It will also decrease many\nissues like red tapism , corruption, and thus will increase accountability\nenabling New India.<\/li>
  3. Pollution free India with green Mother Earth and\nBlue Skies<\/strong>– <\/strong>Cleanliness and clean environment is the another\nobjective of New India. Through better data, policies, regulations and green\nprojects, carbon tax etc. the vision of pollution free India can be achieved.\nNew India will be incomplete healthy environment.<\/li>
  4. Team India with Jan Bhagidari- Minimum Government\nMaximum Governance<\/strong>– New\nIndia strives to be a less corrupt India, with effective rules and regulations\nin place. Minimum Government Maximum Governance will reduce corruption and lead\nto better regulation and accountability. Further Jan Bhagidari will ensure true\ndemocracy and will lead to social audit and accountability resulting in less\ncorruption.<\/li>
  5. Space programmes, Gaganyan, Chandrayan and\nSatellite programmes<\/strong>– Various\nspace programmes will serve the community and society. It will prevent\ndisaster, will help in agriculture crisis through better prediction and will\nalso help overall technological advancement towards a new India.<\/li>
  6. Water, water management, clean rivers: <\/strong>Water is the lifeline of any economy. India is\nfacing water crisis. This Vision envisage to provide water security through\nbetter water management and water saving. Clean water would not only lead to a\nhealthy India but also a clean new India.<\/li>
  7. Blue Economy:<\/strong> <\/strong>Will\nboost employment and provide livelihood to many through fishery development. It\nwill thus enable India to remove millions out of poverty toward a New India.<\/li>
  8. Self-sufficiency and export of food-grains, pulses,\noilseeds, fruits and vegetables:<\/strong> This Vision will provide food security, leading to\nbetter nourishment and overall growth of a child, mother and society in\ngeneral. It will also lead to exports and job creation leading to sustainable\ndevelopment.<\/li>
  9. Achieving a healthy society via Ayushman Bharat,\nwell-nourished women & children, safety of citizens-<\/strong> It is must for any economy to grow, but equally important\nis to keep its population healthy. Ayushman Bharat will resolve India\u2019s health\nissues. Also well nourished women and children will contribute more in economy\nand a healthy demography will be promoted.<\/li>
  10. Make in India with particular emphasis on MSMEs,\nStart-ups, defence manufacturing, automobiles, electronics, fabs and batteries,\nand medical devices-<\/strong> Make\nin India will create millions of jobs, and will lead to inclusive growth. A new\nIndia can\u2019t be with inequalities whether economic or social. Thus this Vision\nwill ensure an inclusive new India.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The government has launched flagship schemes such as Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Jan Suraksha Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Swachh Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Start UP India, Stand UP India, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Make in India etc.that will help in achieving these visions.
