(LEAP),2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About LEAP:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>LEAP is a three weeks leadership development training programme\n (2 weeks domestic and one week foreign training) for second level academic\n functionaries in public funded higher education institutions.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The main objective is to prepare second tier academic heads\n that are potentially likely to assume leadership roles in the future.<\/li><li>The programme would provide senior faculty with high academic\n credentials, the required leadership and managerial skills including\n skills of problem-solving, handling stress, team building work among\n others.<\/li><li>The implementation of programme will be through 15 NIRF top\n ranked Indian Institutions namely.The foreign Universities identified for\n the training are also within the top 100 in the world global rankings.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional development\n of 15 lakh higher education faculty using the Massive Open Online Courses\n platform SWAYAM.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The courses are meant for all in-service teachers and faculties\n in order to enhance their career prospects.<\/li><li>The courses cover a diverse range of topics such as Indian\n culture &amp; Heritage Studies, Pedagogical Innovations &amp; Research\n Methodology among and enhance loan\n availability for exporters.<\/li><li>Under the scheme,the insurance cover guaranteed will cover up\n to 90% of the principal and interest.The insurance cover will include both\n pre and post-shipment credit.<\/li><li>Currently,the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of\n India(ECGC) provides credit guarantee of up to 60 percent loss.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Benefits of the scheme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This scheme will help make Indian exports competitive and make\n ECGC procedures exporter friendly, benefiting MSME Employment Guarantee Act\n (MGNREGA) is an employment guarantee act<\/li><li>It was introduced in 2005 through the National Rural Employment\n Guarantee Kolkata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Hub:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The National Antimicrobial Resistance Hub has been developed by\n the Indian Council of Medical Research(ICMR) in association with the U.S.\n Department of Health and Human Services.<\/li><li>The hub will aim to identify antibiotics that work best Supreme Court has ruled that NGOs which receive\n considerable finances from the government fall under the category of\n \u201cpublic authority\u201d defined in Section 2(h) of the Right to Information\n (RTI) Act of 2005.<\/li><li>This means that they have to disclose vital information ranging\n from finances to hierarchy to decisions to functioning, to the citizens\n who apply under RTI.<\/li><li>An NGO may also include societies which are neither owned or\n controlled by the government but if they are substantially funded by the\n government,directly or indirectly,they come aggregators refer to entities\n which provide technology infrastructure to route and facilitate the\n processing of an online payment transaction and perform other functions\n without actually handling the funds.<\/li><li>They also facilitate e-commerce sites and merchants to accept\n payment instruments from customers for completion of their payment\n obligations to the merchants.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Draft rules for payment gateways:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The draft said the payment aggregators should have a minimum\n net worth of 100 crore and if they don\u2019t manage to arrange that money\n within one year,they should stop doing their business.<\/li><li>The entities should have a nodal officer responsible for\n
