merchant payments into one hood.&nbsp;<\/li><li>It also caters to the Peer to Peer collect\n request which can be scheduled and paid as per requirement and\n convenience.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About National\nPayments Corporation of India(NPCI):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>NPCI is an umbrella organisation for\n operating retail payments and settlement systems in India.<\/li><li>It is an initiative of Reserve Bank of\n India (RBI) and Indian Banks\u2019 Association (IBA) under the provisions of\n the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 for creating a robust Payment\n and Settlement Infrastructure in India.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehindu.com\/news\/national\/other-states\/uttar-pradesh-tops-in-crimes-against-women-says-ncrb-report\/article29760974.ece\">Annual\nCrime in India Report 2017<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>News: <\/strong>The annual Crime in India Report 2017 has been\npublished by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key takeaways from\nthe report:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In 2017,there was an increase of 3.6% in\n registration of cases over 2016.<\/li><li>Delhi witnessed the highest crime rate in\n the country with 1,050 Indian Penal Code(IPC) crime incidents per lakh of\n the city\u2019s population.On the other hand,the IPC crimes decreased greatly\n in Mizoram, Gujarat, Himachal, Tripura and Nagaland.<\/li><li>The number of crimes against women has\n been increased by 6% in the country.Uttar Pradesh topped the list with\n most number of cases followed by Maharashtra and West Bengal.<\/li><li>There were around 58,000 incidents of\n rioting reported.The maximum number of incidents were reported from Bihar\n followed by Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.<\/li><li>The incidents registered under the\n Scheduled Caste Prevention of Atrocities Act has seen an increase from\n 5,082 incidents reported in 2016 to 5,775 in 2017.<\/li><li>The report for the first time collected\n data on circulation of false\/fake news and rumours.Under the category,\n maximum incidents were reported from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and\n Kerala.<\/li><li>Further, a new category of offences\n committed by various categories of Anti-National Elements was included.
