group\nlargely comprising Muslims who predominantly live in the Western Myanmar\nprovince of Rakhine.<\/li><li>They have their own language and\nculture and say they are descendants of Arab traders and other groups who have\nbeen in the region for generations.<\/li><li>But the government of Myanmar\ndenies the Rohingya citizenship and even excluded them from the 2014 census\nrefusing to recognise them as a people.It sees them as illegal immigrants from\nBangladesh.<\/li><li>Hence,lakhs of Rohingyas have fled\nto neighbouring countries like Bangladesh and India after facing religious
