Haryana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conditions\nfor recognition as a state party:<\/strong>For any political\nparty to be eligible for recognition as a State Party in a state, it has to\nsatisfy any of the five conditions listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Secure at least 6% of the valid\nvote &amp; win at least 2 seats in an Assembly General Election.<\/li><li>Secure at least 6% of the valid\nvote &amp; win at least 1 seats in the Lok Sabha General Election<\/li><li>Win at least 3% of the seats or at\nleast 3 seats , whichever is more, in an Assembly General Election<\/li><li>Win at least 1 out of every 25\nseats from a state in a Lok Sabha General Election<\/li><li>Secure at least 8% of the total\nvalid vote in an Assembly or Lok Sabha General Elections.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Significance\nof recognition:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The political parties are given\nrecognition as national or state parties by the election commission of India on\nthe basis of their poll performance.<\/li><li>The recognition determines their\nright to certain privileges like allocation of the party symbols, provision of\ntime for political broadcasts on television and radio stations and access to\nelectoral rolls.<\/li><li>Every national party and every\nstate party is allotted a symbol exclusively reserved for its use throughout\nthe country and the states respectively. <\/li><li>In other words, the Commission\nspecifies certain symbols as \u2018reserved symbols\u2019 which are Loktak lake:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Loktak lake is the largest\nfreshwater lake in North east located at Moirang in Manipur.<\/li><li>The lake is famous for its phumdis\nfloating over it which are formed naturally.<\/li><li>Phumdis are the floating mass of\nentangled vegetation formed by the accumulation of organic debris and biomass\nwith soil.<\/li><li>Keibul Lamjao National Park which\nis the only floating National Park in the world is located on the Loktak Lake.<\/li><li>The sangai deer which is an\nendemic and endangered subspecies sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Facts:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About\nthe study:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This study is the first ever\nestimate of outpatient antibiotic prescription rates and patterns in the\nprivate sector.<\/li><li>It has been published with the\ntitle \u2014 \u201cOutpatient antibiotic prescription rate and pattern in the private\nsector in India\u201d.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key\ntakeaways from the study:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The private sector has clocked\nhigh levels of antibiotic prescription rates (412 per 1,000 persons per year).<\/li><li>Of the 519 million antibiotic\nprescriptions,the majority were dispensed for the diseases of the respiratory\nsystem(55%).<\/li><li>The highest rate was seen among\nchildren aged 0\u20134 years (636 per 1,000 persons) and the lowest in the age group\n10\u201319 years (280 per 1,000 persons).<\/li><li>The percentage of prescriptions\nfor wide-spectrum antibiotics like cephalosporins and quinolones was\nsignificantly higher than the U.S. and resistance specifically covers\nresistance to antibiotics.<\/li><li>As a result, the medicines become\nineffective and infections persist in the body, increasing the risk of spread\nto others.<\/li><li>India is considered to be one of\nthe top users of antibiotics and there is a growing problem of antimicrobial\nresistance. <\/li><li>The per capita antibiotic consumption\nin the per Survey, 78% of people in Rajasthan, participating in the survey\nadmitted to paying a bribe to get work done.<\/li><li>Bihar follows Rajasthan and was\nplaced at second spot.In Bihar, 75 % of citizens admitted to paying a bribe to\nget their work done.<\/li><li>Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand were\nranked third in the list with 74 % of citizens admitted to paying a bribe to\nget their work done. <\/li><li>In South India,Telangana has\ntopped with 67% of citizens admitted to paying a bribe to get their work done.<\/li><li>On the other hand,Kerala was\nranked as the least corrupt states surface-to-surface ballistic missile.<\/li><li>The missile has been developed by\nDRDO (Defence Research and Development Organization).<\/li><li>The missile has a strike range of\n3,000 km to 5,000 km and is capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear\nwarheads weighing up to 1.5 tonnes.<\/li><li>The missile is powered by a\ntwo-stage solid propellant engine.It is 17 metres long with or\nexcess grants are mentioned under Article 115 of the Constitution.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When\nare Supplementary grants needed?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>When
