These fats are largely produced artificially but a small amount also occurs naturally.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Types of Trans fats:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Naturally-occurring trans fats<\/strong>\u00a0are produced in the gut of some animals and foods made from these animals (e.g., milk and meat products) may contain small quantities of these fats.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Artificial trans fats\u00a0<\/strong>are created in an industrial process that adds hydrogen to liquid vegetable oils to make them more solid.
