data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"4\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\"><b>A<\/b> sector-wise breakup of data for F<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Y21 shows the\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">sharpest fall in\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">trade<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, hotels, transport, communication, a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">nd broadcasting services at\u00a0<\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8211;<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">21.4 per cent<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0from 3.6 per cent growth last year.\u00a0<\/span><span losses in these three sectors account for 93.5 percent of the total loss for the whole year.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Hence, fiscal policy needs to focus on priming demand to return policy interventions are needed<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> to increase consumption?<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:200,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"5\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">First, Government should focus on enhancing credit flows to the small and marginal farmers<\/span><\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"5\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\">KCC (Kisan Credit Cards) constitute 60% of Major outstanding bank credit due to COVID and Agri stress.<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"5\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\">To encourage consumption among farmers, interest payment by farmers should be sufficient for their KCC loan renewal.<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"5\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\">It may result in a reduction of the NPA of the banks from KCC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"5\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Second, the government should try to mainstream the tenant farmers<\/span><\/b>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"5\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\">There are almost 3-4 crore tenant farmers, not receiving PM-KISAN benefits.<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"5\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\">The government should try to formalize the credit delivery to tenant farmers by issuing tenancy certificates on the line of Andhra Pradesh.<\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"5\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\">Another way is the formation of SHGs to enable formal lending.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"5\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Third,\u00a0<\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">waive tax on <\/span><\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Senior citizen saving scheme<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">&#8211;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">T<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">he government should make<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0SCSS<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0interest income\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to be\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">tax-free<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span
