It has pointed the following observations,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Economic anxiety and discontent<\/strong> in the American heartland are deepening.<\/li>\n<li>Similar to Trump\u2019s view on <strong>Free trade<\/strong>, the report highlights that <strong>trade liberalisation has not benefitted everyone in the US<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>The report recommends addressing the <strong>deepening income inequality at hom<\/strong>e and domestic investment and industrial strategy that will allow America to become more competitive in the world.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>It recognizes that the <strong>expansive globalist ambitions<\/strong> of the American foreign policy have lost much domestic political support. For example,\n<ul>\n<li>Escalating a new Cold War with China.<\/li>\n<li>Or waging struggle between the world\u2019s democracies and authoritarian governments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Pointing to the overreach of American foreign policy in recent decades the report proposes for a <strong>\u201cless ambitious\u201d foreign policy<\/strong> in the future.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The report signifies under Biden\u2019s administration, the US will adopt a <strong>less interventionist approach<\/strong> in geopolitical issues, reduced international military interventions, <strong>absence of trade wars<\/strong> as against Trump years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What does it mean to India?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>First,<\/strong> in trump years India-US relation saw both developments and confrontations going together.
