Since 1964, the government releases the survey a day before budget day. However, this year&#8217;s economic survey presented 3 days before the budget.<\/p>\n<p>Like last year, Chief Economic Advisor Krishnamurthy Subramanian is the main architect behind this year\u2019s economic survey.<\/p>\n<p>COVID pandemic has deformed the economy in the year 2020. Economic survey 2020-21 may outline the path to put the economy back on track.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Importance of economic Survey for UPSC IAS Exam Preparation<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The <strong>economic survey<\/strong> is a very important document for the preparation of the UPSC examination.
