In general, The scheme aims to develop capacities in the health care system over 6 yrs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PM Atma Nirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Type<\/strong>: It is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme<\/li>\n<li><strong>Aim: <\/strong>The scheme aims to\n<ul>\n<li>Improve primary, secondary, and tertiary care health systems,<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen existing national institutions in Health sector<\/li>\n<li>Create new institutions, to cater to detection and cure of new and emerging diseases.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duration of the Scheme: <\/strong>Six Years<\/li>\n<li><strong>Features of the Scheme: <\/strong>The scheme will support in the setting up of\n<ul>\n<li>Rural, Urban Health and Wellness Centres<\/li>\n<li>Integrated Public Health Labs<\/li>\n<li>Critical health care hospital blocks<\/li>\n<li>National institution for One Health<\/li>\n<li>Regional research platform for WHO South-East Asia Region,<\/li>\n<li>9 Biosafety Level III laboratories and 4 regional centres of National Institutes for Virology.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and 5 regional branches of it<\/li>\n<li>Expanding the integrated health information panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Source: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehindu.com\/business\/budget\/union-budget-2021-budget-proposes-137-hike-in-health-well-being-spend\/article33714433.ece\"><strong>The Hindu<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the News?
