{"id":8309,"date":"2019-07-22T16:26:46","date_gmt":"2019-07-22T10:56:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/factly.forumias.com\/?p=8309"},"modified":"2019-07-22T16:26:46","modified_gmt":"2019-07-22T10:56:46","slug":"government-to-roll-out-big-push-for-infrastructure","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/forumias.com\/blog\/government-to-roll-out-big-push-for-infrastructure\/","title":{"rendered":"Government to roll out big push for infrastructure"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>India has decided to organize an annual global investors meet in the country similar to the World Economic Forum(WEF) in Davos.<\/li><li>The idea for holding a summit is being mooted at a time the government is looking to attract more investments from overseas.This will spur economic growth and generate more jobs.<\/li><li>India also wants to tap investors who can help fund \u20b9100 crore to build infrastructure over the next five years.<\/li><li>The summit will be anchored by the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund(NIIF).<\/li><li><strong>NIIF<\/strong> was set up in 2015 as an investment vehicle for funding commercially viable greenfield, brownfield and stalled projects in the infrastructure sector.<\/li><li>NIIF invests in areas such as energy, transportation, housing, water, waste management and other infrastructure-related sectors in India.<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>India has decided to organize an annual global investors meet in the country similar to the World Economic Forum(WEF) in Davos.
